Hi there.

I have added a user as staff so I can list them as the author of a blog post and given them permission for blog and user posts but they still don’t appear as a author that i can select.

How do i fix this?

Did you find a solution to this issue? I currently have several staff members added to my store, and only my name (store owner account) appears in the author dropdown for blog posts. I also have permissions set for these staff members so they can edit/create blog posts.

For those looking for a solution, I found that the following worked:

  • Create a new blog post; the other staff members’ names should appear in the dropdown. Select the desired staff member.

  • Previously created blog posts should now display the recently added staff member’s name in the author dropdown for selection. Edit these posts and select the desired author.
