Why did I get double charged for my subscription in March 2021?

Dear Shopify Community,

The title said it all. I got charged twice $29.99 for my subscription and there’s no trace of a refund on my bank account. Please find attached my bank statement (with highlighted rows) and the only Shopify bill there is in March.

On top of that, I cannot reach customer support since my store isn’t live anymore. I would be really grateful for any help.

Thank you for reaching out to us, I would be happy to point you in the right direction with this. We are sorry to hear you experienced this issue and would be happy to take a closer look. This is not, however, something we or our community members would be able to help you out with over our forums. Just to clarify, you certainly can reach out to our live support if your store is closed, this is what you will need to do so our team can access your old account and take a look at the invoices in question.

You can do this by logging into your store through the help center, then clicking “continue without logging” since your store is inactive:

Then, search your question/issue and select “continue” at the bottom of the page that displays the search results. Once you reach our live support team, they will be able to access all your previous account information and invoices to take a closer look at what happened here. Since this is the next step for you to take, I will go ahead and mark this thread as solved for the benefit of others who may stumble upon it.
