I started a store called Healing Hearts Shelter and Rescue off my Abundance Homestead business. I bought the domain on July 13th. I was working on the page a recently as last week. I tried to go in yesterday and the store is gone. It does not exist. I entered the store name in start a new store to see if it would come up unavailable because I already have it, and it started a new store. I am so angry. I put hours of work into developing that store and it was about to go live. WHERE IS MY STORE???
And where is the support we are supposed to have??? There is NO way to talk to anyone!! All numbers send you to the web site. If this is the level of customer service Shopify has to offer they need a serious upgrade! I’ll go to another platform before I’ll start my store all over again here.
Sorry to hear that, I understand that this is a frustrating situation.
You mentioned that you recently bought a custom domain - when you try to login, is the custom domain the one that you’re entering? If so, this could be the issue - even though you had set up a new domain, your login would still be the myshopify.com URL version.
If you’re not sure what your exact myshopify.com url is, you can double check it by going to this link here and entering the email address that you use to login to that account. You should then receive an email with the correct URL of the store which you can use to login.
