Why do my slideshow images look blurry on the Crave theme?

I am new to Shopify and so far really impressed.

BUT, I am a bit worried about the Slideshow on the main page in this theme.

Finally today I came across the recommended size for the images

Shopify slideshow image size: 1200 to 2000px width, 400 to 600px height

But despite trying various arrangements of these pixel dimensions I am still finding that the images look slightly blurry.

I’m sure it must be something simple that I haven’t seen/realised yet.

Can anyone suggest anything.

the image is blurry ? make sure all hero images are 1,800px by 400px or whatever height but for hero it should be more “landscape”

Hi to you Reena_Soni and many thanks for your suggestion. And thanks to the others who replied.

I have solved the problem finally. Plus I have managed to find out how to format the slideshow so that it’s not so huge!!

I just clicked on the Adapt to the image in Settings.

This suddenly made the image look right.

And also I changed the ‘stretch’ of the image from the whole width of the screen to the width of the grid. It’s much better. It’s my own fault for not reading everything and just going straight to panic mode. I hope this helps anyone else who’s struggling with this.
