Why do some product types in Google display as blue dots and others as grey?

Does anyone know why and how, I have some products that have blue dot and others grey inside the “Product Type” field?

Please see attached. How can I turn that grey into an active blue?

Also I think blue is randomly assigned by google? I didnot place these wrong categories. I am going through the task of filling in google product types now. Sometimes i do it in my master sheet, sometimes i do it on shopify’s PDP backend.

That blue with dots is a Magic Wand icon and the value there is the suggestion for Standard Product Type based on your product.

ok, when I place the correct value, the blue magic wand turns into a grey
circle. I/.e: A dog bed should be under dog beds, not garden decoration. I
see magic wand under garden deco but not dog bed.
