I have big problems with Shopify! I add some product, change description, price etc. Next day the largest part of information about product, even language is changed. I loose so much time to change everything all the time! What is that! I use app AutoDS to add products from Aliexpress. Please, help!
It looks like this is your first Shopify Community post, you are very welcome here.
I understand that you are wondering why the products on your store are suddenly changing after you have added them. I can see you are noticing things like the description and pricing are changing, which is obviously not ideal considering you are putting time and effort into changing them.
I can confirm that the Shopify admin would not change products in this manner without action from you, so the issue here likely lies with the third party app you are using to add the products. Most dropshipping apps will have settings that affect things like product pricing and automatic updates. My gut feeling here tells me that something in the AutoDS app is causing the products to automatically change.
I had a look on the Shopify App Store and found this listing for the AutoDS app, can you confirm if this is the correct app that you are using? One of the features listed on the app page says âIn-app product optimization: images, prices, titles, and descriptionsâ so it appears that the app definitley has the ability to modify products in the ways you have mentioned. It also says that the app reacts to price or stock changes, which is common for dropshipping apps.
As @Dan-From-Ryviu has suggested, I would recommend taking a look through the settings for the app, and seeing if you can disable or change this auto-update setting so that your products stay how you want them, and donât randomly change.
If you are having trouble finding this setting, then I would recommend reaching out to the app developers for assistance. You can do this by clicking the Support tab on the app page linked above, then clicking Get Support. They will be the best equipped to help you resolve this issue.

Hi again.
Yes, I do use AutoDS app but I do not have that setting that they can
change price or something. I have had contact with them and they can not
help me!
It is interesting that you were unable to find any sort of setting to disable this auto-update feature. You mentioned that you have had contact with them and they were unable to help. Iâd be interested to hear what their response was? Were they able to confirm that this behaviour cannot actually be disabled? Or did they deny that the app was responsible for the changes?
Dropshipping apps are generally providing a direct sync from various suppliers to your Shopify store, so as I mentioned any changes in the product on the supplierâs side could very well replicate on your own store, thus undoing any manual edits you have done yourself. Some apps such as Oberlo (now discontinued) have a setting that can stop any automatic updates to products that you have added through the app, which is what led me to think that maybe AutoDS has this too.
I found some help documentation on the AutoDS website about product monitoring preferences that might help steer you in the right direction.
Welcome to the Shopify Community, and thanks for joining the thread.
As mentioned by my colleague above, dropshipping apps generally provide a direct sync from various suppliers to your store. If the supplier as made any changes on their end, this may reflect changes with your product. Have you tried getting in contact with AutoDS?
Hi! The answer to your question is AutoDS. Once youâve imported the product to your Shopify store, youâll need to sync manually all the product details (like the name, description, images, etc.) to your AutoDS listing, meaning, write everything down or copy and paste from your shopify store to autoDS product detail. This ensures that when AutoDS updates your store with any supplier changes, such as price adjustments, it will also retain the description and other details youâve set, minimizing unexpected changes. Let me know if this works!

Hey, have you tried the newer Shopify/AutoDS sync feature?
When itâs on, any edits you make in Shopify (titles, prices, descriptions, tags, stock, etc) get pushed back to AutoDS automatically within seconds, so you donât have to update things twice. That might actually fix the âchanges reverting after a few hoursâ thing youâre seeing.
Just a small heads-up: if price/stock monitoring is enabled, AutoDS can still adjust those based on supplier changes. I usually tweak prices inside AutoDS or pause monitoring for specific products when I want full control.
AutoDS now has a Shopify â AutoDS sync, so edits made in Shopify can update in AutoDS automatically instead of doing everything twice.
One thing to watch out for: if price/stock monitoring is on, AutoDS may still update those based on the supplier, which can make changes look âreverted.â I usually edit inside AutoDS or pause monitoring when I want full control.
This normally occurs if AutoDS is set to auto-sync with the supplier. When the supplier listing is updated, AutoDS pushes those updates to your Shopify product, including title, description, price, and very occasionally language. Review your AutoDS product settings and disable the auto updates for title, description, and price to keep your Shopify content intact.
