Hello,
I just got a message from a customer saying they could not order our products because the “add to cart” button is gone. Now that I’m looking at it, the add to cart button is gone on all of the products in the “coffee” category.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as we can not afford to have our store down.

Have you recently made any changes to your theme’s code? Either by adding an app or editing the code directly? Does this happen on all products? Does it occur on mobile and desktop versions of your site?
Previewing your shop in a different theme is a good way to pinpoint if the issue is related to the theme, or something else! Head to Online Store > Themes > scroll to another theme you have on deck and click Actions > select Preview.
If that works, one quick fix, while waiting for a permaent solution is to add an old version of your theme or a fresh version from the Theme store so the functionality will work. Online Store > Themes > click Visit theme store or Explore free themes and select the relevant theme to download.
If you haven’t made any changes to your shop, I’d suggest reaching out to the theme’s developer directly to see if they can pinpoint the issue within your code.
If this is a Shopify-built theme, please share the answers to these questions with our support team directly, so they can authenticate your shop details!

I have not changed any code directly nor have I downloaded any new apps.
All that I’ve changed recently is that I added more “variations” to my coffees.
And yes, it appears that the add to cart button is there and works on other themes.

the button is there, but it’s invisible because its background color is set to transparent and the background image, btn-bg.png, is missing.
This button is being added by Bold Recurring orders, so may be you should check the configuration of the App.
Also can try this: open your custom.css(.liquid?) Asset, find line 93 (which starts with .spr-button,.btn-gradient…) and add
.inline_purchase .btn,
at the beginning of the line.
(Make a backup copy of the theme via Actions=> Duplicate before doing edits to you Assets!)

I had the same problem! Been customizing the shop so much but the answer was pretty simple with mine. I had forgotten to change the font color! The cart symbol was there all along but it was hidden because the background and font color were the same.
I nearly had to revert to default settings after all the customizing I’ve already done. I hope yours was just a case of that too!

I found out that it was because my cart font color was the same as the
background. I hope you figure yours out.
anyone have the steps to remove the ‘subscribe to email’ button and to add back the ‘add to cart’ and ‘check out’ buttons? I changed the fonts and colors just in case they are h’hiding’, I have attempted to call support 3 times and still has not been fixed, i may have to rebuild my store, ugh!! I added the infinitoptions app and this is when all things went south, any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated before I throw my computer out the window. LOL

if your add to cart button disappeared , Simply go to Theme Settings (The Middle option above the App option) and then scroll down to button outline and try changing the color until its visible
