Welcome, @whatthefrock !
I appreciate you reaching out here in the Shopify Community! I’d be more than happy to help you.
We’ve recently moved to the New Shopify Checkout, this update means that some third-party payment providers (payment options that are not maintained/provided by Shopify) need to undergo updates to be compatible with the New Shopify Checkout. Most of the third-party payment providers that integrate with Shopify have already updated and are compatible with the New Shopify Checkout. You can learn more about this via the Community post here.
It is best to reach out to Afterpay’s support team – contact them here, to see if updating is something that will be completed. If the team will be updating to meet the requirements of the New Shopify Checkout – they should be able to give you next best steps to take. If the Afterpay support indicates they will not be updating, you might want to consider offering alternative payment options. You can check which alternative payment providers are available in your country by clicking into the link here and then navigating to your region!
Aside from that, I’d be curious to hear more about your business and what you’re selling?
