Why is double opt-in still active after disabling it?

Hi!

I’ve set up the newsletter in my shop and installed ShopSync to sync my contacts with MailChimp.

Most of the things are working, but even though i disabled double opt-in, when you sign up for that newsletter it’s still sending out an confirmation mail.
I also disabled double opt-in on my MailChamp list, but that thing worked great always anyway.

How do I fix that?

Is there nobody that encountered the same problem? :confused:

Really need help with that one, since my shop can’t go live with that problem being there.

Alright, I got a solution set up where I have to add the mails manually. At least no double opt-in.
Would still love to get an answer how to set this up properly.

Sorry to see nobody answered your question! Did you find a solution deactivating the DOI?

@Gabe I still have the same issue + I disabled reCaptcha and it still shows it for users although I disabled it in the preferences section. Do you have any advice on how to proceed?

In what workflow do the users see the recaptcha? If when creating an account, this can not be deactivated as it is a security measure designed to prevent Bot accounts.

I tested your shop newsletter and received no recaptcha as you can see here.
