Were you having problems with migrating data or syncing with QB Desktop software?
I made the mistake of using “summary” mode for syncing information, not realizing that supplier names for purchase orders are “summarized” to a generic shopify name in QB Enterprise and there is no way to change these settings after the fact other than waiting for someone from the migration team to do it for you (3rd day of waiting so far). The connector app is in desperate need of an upgrade given how smoothly everything else on shopify runs.
Thank god I chose the bluetooth printer. Of all things we got a broken charging dock for the card reader, like seriously it’s a USB cable + paperweight combo how could it possibly be DOA.
Never had the app just disappear yet, I did have to restart the integration a couple of times because Shopify gives no info about what their “Account Mappings” are and categorize Inventory Adjustments wrong. QB POS support was useless, QB Enterprise support was vague at best and so far at least the Shopify migration support have answered questions. It seems like they can do most everything on the backend for you since they don’t allow you to edit settings after you set it up, that’s all I’m waiting for.
Some of the live chat support has even told us we should use Webgility instead of the Desktop Connector, but at this point another $2000 per year would just be a waste hopefully they get the connector fixed before needing that.
We are in the same boat. Have yet to get a successful sync between shopify and QB desktop. First, we were told we had too many inventory items. Now that we have spent several days deleting old inventory items, still will not sync successfully. It has now been 2 months and still not syncing. Just tried calling tech support and the phone tree does not prompt for Shopify PIN, so you get stuck in a loop. This is the worst migration we have been a part of and it is obvious that Shopify was not prepared for this number of QB migrations and does not know how to resolve it.
