Why is my Dawn theme banner image blurry and how can I fix it?

I know this question has been asked, but the image banner on my website is burred upon uploading. I’ve tried many different formats and resolutions/aspect rations. I know it’s something with the code in the image-banner.liquid but I am having trouble editing the code so the resolution of the banner image is fixed.

Hi @niko585 ,

The good banner size for these days is 1920px X 1080px (Full Screen Presentation).

For the mobile banner size is 480px X 480px (but I use 840px X 840px for mobile & tablet).

If you spend a bit more time editing the images (for sharpening & brightness adjustment), you can make the images better.

Did you try to photoshop that image? Maybe it good after that

Hi there!

I am having the exact same issue, my banner and image on collections which shows on the home page as a collage is also blurry. I don’t want to make any changes to the code, can you go in and do what you need to to improve the resolution?

Hi! Sorry to bother you! I’m having a bit of an issue finding where to put this code for the Trade theme. I’m having the same issue with my “ Mind Behind the Magic” banner on mobile and desktop. All my other images except for my homepage banner look blurry but when I view in Canva or download they are crisp. May you please help me?
