Why is my sitemap.xml showing 0 URLs on Google console?

Hello,

My issue is when I did the sitemap of my store, it succeeded and was accepted by google console. However they showed that I have 0 URL’s. As you can see in the green circle.

Then when I tried to add the sitemap of my products for the same store, it showed the type is unknown and status couldn’t fetch. As is shown in the red circle.

What is the problem here and how can I resolve it?

Hi @mani26 ,

without knowing the website address, it’s hard to say, what’s the problem because I can’t check the sitemap.

Some steps to do:

  1. If you type the sitemap URL in the search bar, is it accessible? Can you see the sub-sitemaps?

  2. Did you copy and submit the whole sub-sitemap URL even with the parameters?

  3. Wasn’t your store still password-protected when submitting the sitemap?

Hopefully some of the ideas above might help you find the solution.

Hi @mani26 ,

try submitting the first sitemap url with the parameter:

https://fennecbeauty.com/sitemap_products_1.xml?from=6740147404859&to=6763881889851

And then continue submitting the following sitemap urls.
