Why isn't my online store's password protection working?

Hello,

The password protection feature is enabled on my site, yet, when I access the site I’m able to see all pages. This was not the case prior to today. I recently changed the email address and have been making other updates. What could have caused this?

Please disregard. I was able to figure it out. Aside from changing the email address, I also changed the domain name. Although the system accepted the changes and I was able to keep the same password I was still able to get into the site. I changed the password and the site is once again protected!
