Why won't my autoplay video work on mobile platforms?

First time posting, so apologies in advance if I’m not providing information in an acceptable way:

I’ve recently switched my site’s Vantage theme to 2.0 and it’s mostly going smoothly. Every product page has a demo video that’s been working well on both desktop and mobile. Example product page here.

I have been using this code for the “Custom Liquid” section of each product page:

The above code has worked on both mobile and desktop for the demo videos on each product page.

BUT…
The newest product I’ve put up, the video is not working on mobile. I used the same above code that works on all other product pages, but this time it doesn’t work on mobile (particularly iPhone):

Any ideas why that would be the case? Open to suggestions!

I tested and it works fine, have you tried it on another device?

It seems to be working ok on Android phones (which I guess is partially positive), but on iPhone this is how it looks—just a blank video frame that won’t play when clicked:
