Widen text area on mobile devices via Dawn Theme

Hello everyone!

How do I make my text area on mobile devices wider? I feel the text area on phones is too narrow using the dawn theme. There has to be a way to make the text area go to the edge of the phones a bit more. I am not talking about making it go completely to the end of the screen, just a little more than it currently is. I personally feel that will look better.
