Withholding my payout for 6 months.

I’ve had enough! Shopify has been withholding my payout since MARCH, claiming I’m at risk of receiving chargebacks. Let me be clear—I haven’t received a single chargeback. I’ve shown proof THREE times that my business is running preorders and have provided exact dates for when everything would be fulfilled and shipped out.

Despite my efforts, I’ve only been able to speak with multiple people via chat—because they don’t actually give out a phone number—and I’m STILL without my payment. This is affecting my business in a serious way. I was supposed to receive my payout in MAY, then again last week, but here we are, still nothing.

I’ve been paying a monthly subscription, and yet Shopify is holding my money hostage. If I don’t receive my payout this week by August 16th, 2024, I will be filing a legal complaint. I’m ready and willing to take action.

Shopify, this needs to be resolved ASAP!

Based on experience, this kind of issue will take time to be resolved. You will need to keep an open communication with Shopify support team as they are the only one who has better view of your account’s status. Follow up your case via live chat instead of email or ticket to avoid moving it further on the queue.
