Does anyone know if Shopify is working on any functionalities regarding purchase orders and automatizing the process of updating the COGS? Currently purchase order is not matched with products cost, which in my opinion is weird. Personally, I haven’t been using the app called stocky, but I have heard it was working pretty okay and in addition it was doing a forecasting. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I don’t know if Shopify is doing anything with COGS and POs directly so I can’t really directly answer to that, but you mentioned Stocky and that it’s “pretty okay” and “does forecasting.”
Here are my thoughts - Stocky is going away in less than 3 months. Shopify is killing the app and it is already not available on the app store unless you punch it in directly. If you are interested in using an app to solve the Purchase Order question, the COGS question (in a big, strategic way), has product costs built into a PO and allows you to add based on forecasted demand (seasonality, past purchase history, upcoming event pressure, etc.) then FyreTrail might just be what you are looking for.
