Wondering why I can not add payment method in paying for shopify

I have been trying and trying to select payment method to pay for shopify, However the option does not come up. I am the owner of the Store And I can not find anywhere to enter payment method. I have been to settings, billings, bills, but it’s always the same. Anyone know what I am missing? Much appreciated. Cheers.

As @AvadaCommerce mentioned in this thread, you can add payment methods, so customers can pay for goods on your store via the video they shared below. However, I think what you are trying to do here is to add a payment method so that you can pay your Shopify subscription bill - is that right?

If so, then you can add a payment method to pay for your bills by simply following my steps below:

  1. Log into your admin.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of your admin and select Settings.

  3. Next, please select Billing.

  4. On the billing admin, click on Add Payment Method.

  5. From there, add your payment details in the provided fields and save by clicking Add Credit Card.

  6. If you are located in the US, then you can update the information, except in this case we will instead go to Finances > Billing. We have a great help center doc here at this link which walks you through the steps as well. Let me know how that goes!
