x out of announcement bar Dawn Theme 15.2.0

Hi,

I’m looking to add an x to my announcement bar so that customers are able to click out of it. Example:

I hope you are doing well

Here are the steps that will help you to add the close button to your announcement bar

  1. First, you will need to find the announcement bar in your Theme > Edit code, normally it will be in the announcement-bar.liquid

  2. Then please paste this code into right inside the announcement bar code

  1. Then please move to the closing of in theme.liquid https://prnt.sc/VLaFKE25_owt then add this code

Please change “anivia” to the text that you want to show on your announcement bar and we are done

Just had a doubt, where exactly should the code be placed in “announcement-bar.liquid”, the other step is clear but I wasn’t sure about this one.
