Your payouts from Shopify Payments are on hold while we review your account

Hello, I got this message today when I logged into my account that states: “Your payouts from Shopify Payments are on hold while we review your account. Contact Support for next steps on this standard review. This hold does not prevent your customers from checking out.” However, I have gotten no email asking for documents and when I chat with the support team they cannot tell me when this will be resolved. Can someone please help escalate this and get it resolved?

I see lots of post regarding store terminated without any prior notice and I am also facing the same problem.

Shopify has not given any contact number, not getting response from them over emails and no support from help center. What should we do to resolve the issue? I have pending payouts and mm y business is just put on hold as they terminated the store which was created with lots of efforts, time and money.

It’s unacceptable! Please someone help on this regards.

Hey @LOA1 Did you ever get this resolved? Curious to see how long it took after they froze your payout before they had the courtesy of composing an email letting you know what the issue was. I’m in the same situation selling protein bars and powders and of course they wait for the beging of the year to do their “Routine” checkup. I’ve reached out to them daily trying to get an ounce of information but never get anywhere.
