I need feedback on my first sale , acceleration and social conversion
AI-generated summary
A new Shopify store owner asked for feedback after receiving 3 sales from about 3,000 sessions in the first month, focusing on sales acceleration and social conversion.
Feedback identified the issue as primarily a conversion problem rather than a traffic problem. Suggested improvements included fixing a slow-loading homepage banner, adding trust signals such as reviews and a size guide, and reviewing site speed/CRO issues.
Further critique said the store appears too basic and unfinished, with a small logo, default-style navigation, limited original content, default product descriptions, and product images left in descriptions. Trust concerns were raised about the domain name containing “-4” and the contact address being listed as “virtual.”
Pricing and traffic quality were also questioned: one dress appeared significantly more expensive than similar listings elsewhere, and the owner was advised to check whether many of the 3,000 sessions were bots or crawlers. No resolution was reached; the discussion remains open for improvements and further review.

Hello @angek1999 3 sales from 3,000 sessions is a conversion problem, not a traffic problem. Your homepage banner takes a few seconds to render and shows a blank black screen while it loads, that’s real drop-off on slower connections. Add a couple of trust signals near your bestsellers too (reviews, a size guide) since these are fashion items people are cautious buying sight-unseen. If you want the full picture, we built a free tool at audit.ecomswiftllc.com that flags the CRO/speed issues page by page.

Hi @angek1999
Welcome to the community.
And great job on getting the first 3 sales, note that some merchants spend months before getting their first sale. So you must be doing something right.
But your store is very basic: small logo, almost a default menu, and in the wrong place, a hero banner cutout on larger screens. No real content, just products and default descriptions; you did not even remove images from the description. Plus, your domain with -4 in the name is not very trustworthy. But I would never buy anything from a store that deliberately hides contact information “Address: virtual”.
Also, your prices seem a bit high; I checked on one item
$56 LUXURY Glitter Sequin Suspender Mini Dress – AngelAura
But a quick search found 2 stores that dress is $10 Shimmer Sequin Strappy Mini Dress | Windsor and Windsor Shimmer Sequin Strappy Mini Dress at CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin, TN, so I do think people will search to compare prices.
Finally, you should check those 3000 sessions, and see how many are bots/crawlers and what % are real people.
To me, those types of dropshipping stores do not have a long future; you can search Store Feedback and also search fro “no sales”, “zero sales” to see stores in same situation adn what advice they got and how long they actually lasted.
Good luck.
