A tool to track Shopify Community discussions

Hi everyone,

I’m a Shopify developer and I often find it challenging to keep track of all the active discussions in the Shopify Community. There are so many threads being created every day, and it’s hard to know:

  • Which posts are relevant to my apps or expertise

  • Where I could contribute valuable advice

  • Which discussions might benefit from tools or solutions I know about

This often results in missed opportunities to engage, provide help, or even just stay up-to-date with trends and common problems.

The idea I’m curious about:

I’m thinking about a tool that would provide a daily summary of relevant posts tailored to a developer’s or store owner’s goals. For example:

  • Highlight posts where your expertise/apps could help

  • Suggest which discussions are worth joining

  • Save time by filtering out unrelated threads

Basically, instead of browsing hundreds of new posts manually, you’d get one concise daily digest with actionable insights.

Questions for the community:

  • Would a tool like this save you time or make it easier to engage effectively?

  • What features would you find most useful in such a daily summary?

  • Are there any concerns you would have about using a tool like this?

I’m just exploring the idea and would love honest feedback from developers and Shopify experts here.

Daily digest + per-board RSS + topic/app tags would save time, I set RSS filters for a client to surface only relevant threads. Keep filters tight and respect Community guidelines to avoid spam or off-topic flags.
