Add money to Shopify Balance Card

Hi!

I just received a chargeback on my account. Shopify trying to deduct payment on my Shopify Balance Account.

How do I add money to my Shopify Balance Account so I can pay this chargeback until settled.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I’m sorry to see that you’ve received a chargeback.

To transfer funds while you work to resolve the chargeback please complete the following steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Finances > Balance.

  2. Click Move money.

  3. Optional: Under Add funds to Balance, click the clipboard icon to copy your Shopify Balance account details.

  4. Log in to your existing business or regular bank account where you’d like to draw the money from.

  5. Go through your bank’s regular process to transfer money out of the bank using your Shopify Balance account details

In regards to fighting your chargeback, has this customer reached out to you regarding the issue? If possible, it’s best to try to resolve the issue with the customer and have them drop the chargeback with you. I’ve also provided a guide on how to avoid chargebacks in the future.
