Allow customers to purchase a limited quantity when out of stock

Hello,

We are looking for a way to create a pre-order feature.

when the product is out of stock, we still can set a limited quantity which can be pre-ordered.

we found the option ‘allow customers to purchase when it’s out of stock’ but it can’t be limited AFAIK.

is there a suggestion?

Hi there!

Have you tried Pre-order Apps? KAD Pre-Order — PreOrder NOW app wil check the box “Continue selling when out of stock”, change the button “Sold out” to “Pre-order now” and allow you to set quantity limit of pre-orders for products that you would like to presell. As soon as limit will be reached Pre-order button will be changed back to the “Sold out” and it will be impossible for your customers to click on it, which prevents oversell.
