A great question, and with so much buzz around AI it can be hard to know what to look for.
I would say that AI helps primarily with execution, not strategy.
Conversion rate issues are hidden problems. So seek to understand these first.
Focus on using analytics data to pinpoint where you could be focusing your efforts.
- Are they not adding products to their cart?
- Going to the checkout but not completing?
- Or simply not navigating towards product pages
Then look to identify causes. Share links with people you don’t know (like in a coffee shop) to hear their hesitations and doubts. You can also do this with AI to understand possible friction points.
After knowing your problem areas AI can help massively in proposing hundreds or ideas for new content, product images, additional content that can help alleviate fears.
