Any way to have credit/debit payment option without business license on my store?

Paypal Business will require a registered business name, and so does many other third party payment methods. I just want to start my business first as a side hustle and a small company, but I can’t do that because I can’t find available payment methods that are available for the customer. Shopify payments isn’t available in my country (Thailand). Please help, I have been looking for hours and still can’t find a solution. I don’t understand how people with no business licenses were able to start their store and accept some sort of payment.

It also says after a few sales they will help me set up my PayPal business account? I won’t be able to do that without a registered business, right?

One option is to add Google pay as a payment option.

I can’t find a way to DM, but hope it is ok if you can find other contact methods or answer me here. Google pay is the only platform that can implement credit and debit card options to my store without any business licenses?

Just found out Oganro can integrate “Google Pay” as a standalone payment processor to any Shopify Store. :wink: This is fab..

Hi if I paid u would you help me with the same issue.

im just trading on eBay small time, skateboards maybe 1 every few days so no point registering as a business. So I spent a week and created a Shopify site loaded products went to launch the I can’t use the checkout functions without being a business? PayPal business account? It’s all to hardcore I’m not a business yet.

im making 20 a sale so it’s nothing. Help. As can’t rEally use the site.

Hi, did you manage to find a third party payment provider that works for you in Thailand? Since Shopify Payments is not available to us? What did you end up using and what was the process of setting up/transaction fees.

Hi @N_Abey , Would you please suggest a payment method that doesn’t require a business setup in UAE or GCC?

Also, would it be a problem if I change my store location to maybe integrate one of those payment methods if they aren’t supported in my region? I will be dropshipping and it’s my first time so I’m really hesitant to commit to license expenses without seeing a positive outcome.

hello! I am having the same problem, I am in the US but my business isn’t registered yet. I only sell cookies to people I know but I want them to not have the hassle to having to message me all the time. And its only a side hustle I do, something to not burn me out with my main job. I love it.

looking at the payments, they all need some sort of registered number or ein. Is there a payment option I can put into that still accepts major credit cards? Thanks!
