App mysteriously got delisted without notification from Shopify why?

My wishlist app https://apps.shopify.com/stellar-point got delisted a week ago - last Thursday without a notification from the team. Since then I have been trying to contact the Shopify Partner team and their Governor team to know the reason but they have not given an answer.

To recap my issue:

  • We decided to unpublish our app Mega Menu - Stellar Point as no one was using it on the real stores.
  • I got some notifications from Shopify to handle the issue in my app ‘Mega Menu - Stellar Point’. Then the menu app got delisted.
  • We thought that our other apps would not be affected as we unpublished the ‘Menu App’ before it got delisted, no one was using it on the real stores and the other apps have no issues with Shopify and clients have been using it well and we have been supporting our clients.
  • On Apr 2, we got another notification from Shopify about that menu app and they said they would begin terminating my partner account due to that app’s issue
  • We were not aware of that email until last week as we had received many emails (~250) from Shopify Ads’s automated notifications
  • Last week our Stellar Wishlist app got delisted without a notification.

Is it related to the partner termination process or something else? If anything, I should be notified beforehand.

UPDATE 1: 10 days have passed since I initially contacted their team and still no answers.

I was using the Steller wishlist app and it wasn’t until today I noticed it wasn’t working. Shopify has been charging me for the subscription and didn’t notify me it was removed.

Hi, I’m the owner of that app. We was temporarily delisted to support the latest OS 2.0 theme requirements. The issue you experienced was due to DNS propagation in our domain. It was back to normal after some mins. Unfortunately you uninstalled the app too soon. We will notify you how to reinstall the app.
