Last week I ordered a BBQ from a shop called The Gearse on Shopify. I paid $846 and now the shop is gone. In looking for help, I have found many, many complaints about the same thing happening to others. And the only answer Shopify gives is to dispute the charge with the credit card company (which I was already doing). I will NEVER use Shopify again, and if any legit businesses on Shopify are reading this, I think you should be concerned about losing customers over this. This “buyer beware” attitude and lack of any support for customers is not the shopping experience people want these days. Disgraceful.
