Automatically notify subscribed customers of a new item added

Looking for an app or way of automatically notifying subscribed customers of when new items are added to the store.
currently I have a text subscription service and manually send these notifications.

Flow App/Marketing have templates for this.

I used to do this, with good success:

  1. Create a New Arrivals collection and have that linked in your website’s main navigation

  2. Create a New badge graphic and in your Liquid code make that badge show for any products created within the last X days (14 for example)

  3. When you have some new products, send an email to your subscribers letting them know what’s new. Would usually do this when there are at least a few new products, or something with a story we can weave in.

Hi, only seeing the option of sending an email (using Klaviyo) , do you know how I can do it with automatic texts?

Do you have a Shopify Email app?

Flow also can do “Send HTTP request” action which can be used to call Service provider APIs, but this is a bit too technical.

There is a bunch of services like IFTTT or Zapier which may provide better flexibility.

I would start with Shopify Flow to trigger when an item is added to a collection or even when a tag is added to the item. As Shopify Email doesn’t let you send emails passing customized content, I would explore by sending an HTTP request to your marketing tool trigger the email send or integrate with Zappier or make.com to send the emails from there.
