Automation Newsletter does not send emails

I have created an automation with Shopify under Marketing. I want a welcome email to be sent automatically to each new subscriber. This function is now even available pre-built in Shopify. Unfortunately, the automation does not send an email. I can send a test to myself when I create the email template, but when I activate the automation nothing happens. Manually I can send a newsletter to my newsletter list without any problems.

Where could I be doing something wrong?

I’ve the same issue. Is it already solved?

Working for me since yesterday. Without changing anything at the workflow. Probably Shopify fixed internal an issue with sending the workflow mails.

Yes, indeed, I just waited. What’s of course important is to verify the E-Mail with DKIM and SPF entry at the domain.

I’m running into the same issue, I’ve been working on this for hours :disappointed_face: All I am trying to do is fairly simple. If a new customer that subscribes to the newsletter anywhere on my website or at checkout should receive an automatic email welcoming them and having a discount code of 15%. Can anyone please let me I’d appreciate it so much. Thank you

We are also having issues with the automation email from shopify. Any update as to why this is not sending emails every time?

I wish I had a solution. I’ve been having the same issue since the beginning of this month.

One thing I thought about is that the sender email is currently set as a gmail address. Are you also using a gmail address as the sender email?

If so, I wonder if this could be the issue.

If I figure this out, I’ll be sure to post back here what worked.

I just got this automated welcome message to work.

The Sender Email was a gmail account.

The Store Details Email was also this gmail account.

I have the Email Forwarding set up in Domains. So… I changed the Store Details Email to this Shopify domain email, and changed the Sender Email to that same Shopify domain email. This solved the issue, and now those automated welcome messages are being sent. Hope this helps!
