Hi there, I publish and sell comics. I recently published an erotic comic that Shopify said I couldn’t sell and had to remove from my site. They suggested Bankful as a third-party payment processor and a link for some others. Since they mentioned Bankful by name and their website seemed good, I started to apply for Bankful.
However, I’m at a point where to get approved by Bankful they want me to send my username and password to Shopify and Paypal (rather than having an API grant access), and they said they need to send a representative to my business (whether retail or home) to confirm I am who I say I am and take photographs. This sounds sketchy to me and I wanted to know if anyone has experience with Bankful and had to do similar tasks?
Additionally, do you have any other suggestions for good third-party payment processors that allow for the sale of adult content/high-risk products? Thanks so much.
