Hi There,

I’m looking for an app that I can use with my barcode scanner to allow me to do stock take but I don’t want it to link with my actual inventory in my shopify account as I have colored acrylic sheets that are used to laser cut items so the acrylic sheets aren’t listed in my products in my store.

I’m just looking for something I can add products myself, scan the quantity with my scanner for personal idea of what I have currently or say what color acrylic sheets are running low.

So an inventory scanning app that doesn’t link/affect my current product quantity.

If your colored acrylic sheets are products in Shopify and have barcodes you can scan them in using our Stock Take Shopify App.
As long as you don’t action the stock take we won’t change any inventory in Shopify.

You can then export and report on the counts you’ve done which we will email you an excel file of, so you can use it for anything else you need.
