Bing search results are bringing up all the pages I don't want & redirects aren't working

Hey everyone, I’ve been giving my store some well overdue attention and I’ve noticed that on Bing my search results are taking visitors to a blank page (and other useless pages). I’ve tried setting up a redirect but for some reason it’s not working. I’d appreciate your suggestions on the best way to overcome this.

The homepage of my site is https://louisemead.co.uk/

On the Bing search results, it’s bringing up this page as my main landing page https://louisemead.co.uk/pages/frontpage, which is blank (I’m not even sure why it’s there tbh) and then listing other pages underneath it that are unlikely to be of interest as an entry point to the site (see screencap).

I’ve tried setting up a redirect of the frontpage, to my homepage in Shopify but it’s not redirecting.

Here’s how I’ve set-up the redirect:

I’d love to know your suggestions on the best way to approach it to achieve both a quick fix to ensure clicks on the current search result go to the correct homepage and also to change the results on Bing to be the most appropriate pages.

  1. Check if the canonical URL for your homepage is set correctly and there aren’t any incorrect redirects.

  2. Address the blank page: add content to it, remove it, or fix theme code if necessary.

  3. Resubmit your sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools to prompt re-crawling and update search results.

Hi Theodore, thanks for replying.

I hid the page for the timebeing, and that seems to have fixed the issue both with Bing and the redirect.
