Bought domain from Shopify but Sender Email address questions

Hi all,

Now I am confusing on the sender email address problems.

My case:

I bought a domain from Shopify, My shopify store name is www.ABC.com

I generate an email “sales@ABC.com” and already set it on Sender Email in general setting,

and set auto forward to my private Gmail in DNS setting.

My question is when customer contact me or send email to sales@ABC.com, it will forward to my Gmail acc. If I reply them let they see my Gmail name.

How do I use “sales@ABC.com” to reply them or use this email for the contact instead of my Gmail?

Email forwarding is a service that lets you direct an email from your custom domain to an existing email account.

Email hosting isn’t provided on Shopify. Meaning that if you reply to the email then your personal email will appear, and not the email created through email forwarding. If you want to send an email from your custom domain forwarding address, then you need to use a third-party email hosting service. If you use Zoho Mail or Google Workspace, then you can connect the hosting service to your domain in Shopify. If you use another email hosting service, then you can add an MX record to connect it to your domain by editing your DNS settings.
