Bug when using Search feature when site is set to Japanese

I hope I can get your support on this
We’ve just got our website live (but only for Japanese Market)
we are using Digital Theme.
There is a little bug we found when trying to do a (Real time) search when the website is set to Japanese.
(We don’t have this bug when it is set to English.)

I included some screenshot to allow you to dig further into the matter
I suspect it is a problem with the encoding (not working properly for Japanese) of the predictive js code used to show the results directly.

Could you fix it for us? We tried contacting Segment the owners of Digital and had them investigate it after which we were told that this feature is out of reach for them and recommended us to check it here.

Thank you for your reply.

I tried debugging the URL passed to the fetch function, and it appeared in the console. When I accessed it, I encountered an exception stating:

“Expectation failed: Unsupported buyer locale.”

I’m unsure how to resolve this issue. Could you please assist me with this?

Did you find the solution? I’m facing the same issue. but my store locale is Thai.
All of my product’s name is English. woulnt work
from this https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/storefront-search/predictive-search
not support my language. but I don’t understand even my product’s name are all in English.
