Hi, I created my account today and when I try to create the store it says that the store already exists!
However I’ve never had an acoustic t in Shopify, I did create a store in Bigcommerce that I’ve cancel also today.
Is it possible that one thing is in conflict with the other?

Yes, it’s possible that you give the store name which is already taken by someone else. You can try some unique name for your store.

The name I’ve given to the store is a registered trade mark also name of the domain so I’m not very keen in changing the name
when I google the name of the store only my store comes up, which I believe is still attach to the Bigcommerce platform, and that may be the problem!
If this store already exists in Shopify when I google it it should appear, no?
yes, that will not appear.
But you can use any unique name for now & connect to your original domain when it’s ready to live.

When it comes to put the name of the store do I need to put with an URL? like name.co.uk or is “name” enough to create the store?
And obviously Shopify will after assign a domain to the “name”?

Hi @Akibhusen I will accept the solution just to close this, apparently the name for the store is available in Wix platform
so for the time being that will be my option, nevertheless thank you very much for your help.
