So my company sells a product bundle. This product bundle comes with an adhesive pack. We recently just got better adhesives and we want to give consumers the option to pay a premium to trade out the old adhesives for the new adhesives when they purchase the bundle. I see the option to add a product variant of a different size/color but I don’t see a way to add a variant that is a slightly higher price. Does anyone know how to do this?
How you are selling that bundle matters a great deal.
If you are using an app you need to consult with that apps support for feasibility.
If this is using a theme customization, you’d either need to work with the original customizer or communicate to others how it was implemented.
WIthout better detail or being able to inspect your information architecture it’s all guess work for others to try and help.
If this is literally just a product-variant wherein you ship multiple items, then if you are not using all 3 variant options just add the adhesive as an option keeping in mind the combinatorics for the 100 variant limit for products. (so if your already using 40 variants with 2 options then very crudely: adding a third option means 20 combos wont be able to exists within the 100 limit because you need 120 variants).
