I would like my slideshow to keep on looping from the last slide - back to the first. I’d appreciate your solutions or alternatives.

I appreciate that you have let us know which theme you are using as that is very helpful! If you have added the slideshow section to your online store using the Theme Editor, you may need to enable the option Auto-rotate slides. By default, the slideshow should restart automatically once all the slides have been displayed. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
With that being said, if you notice that the slideshow is not automatically looping - this may be due to the coding of the theme. As I was looking into this, I noticed that the Spark theme is designed and supported by Fluorescent Design Inc., since it was not directly developed by Shopify we are a bit unfamiliar with the style of coding that is used throughout the theme.
In this case, it would be best to reach out to the developers that created the theme as they would be in the best position to offer additional support to this inquiry. I did come across to finding their Contact Us page and wanted to provide it.

Hi Ollie,
Unfortunately, my slideshow is not displaying the option of Auto-Rotate at all. But after some digging I have realised that the reason for this is because it is Automatically Rotating anyway but only in Preview and not the creator.
Silly me!
