Hello,
Is there a way to change the dynamic checkout buttons to Apple Pay? For example, I’d like the Google Pay button option to be replaced with Apple Pay.
A merchant wants to replace the Google Pay button with Apple Pay in their dynamic checkout options. They’ve already disabled Google Pay in payment settings and enabled Apple Pay, but the Apple Pay button still isn’t appearing on their checkout page.
The support representative confirms there’s a known ongoing issue with the Apple Pay button that developers are working to fix. As long as Apple Pay is activated in payment settings, the issue should resolve automatically once the fix is implemented.

Hi, @57twenty !
Thanks for reaching out in our Community Forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
I understand that you are looking to add Apple Pay and remove Google Pay to your express checkout options. Essentially, you will want to ensure that Apple Pay is set up and can disable Google Pay directly from your payment settings as only the enabled payments gateways will appear as options to your customers. You can also refer to our Help Center guide here that goes into more details about these buttons. Please note, that there are some eligibility requirements to consider for these gateways so be sure that you are eligible.
If you have any other questions, feel free to follow up and let me know! Additionally, I’m always looking to help out merchants with ideas or feedback related to their stores. Are you still in the process of setting up your store or have you launched it already?

I have disabled Google Pay as my payment gateway and Apple Pay still doesn’t show up even when I have already checked it in settings.
Hi again, @57twenty !
Thanks for the update.
It seems like there was an ongoing issue regarding the Apple Pay button that our developers are aware of and are in the process of implementing a fix for. As long as your Apple Pay express button is activated in your payment settings, then the issue should resolve automatically.
You can also flag this instance with our team through the Help Center so that we can take a closer look. To do this, you can ask the Virtual Shopify Assistant to contact support. From there, it’ll guide you with your next steps on how to connect with a team member.
