Hi, @itx_hussnain41 . I’m happy to help you out! Can you tell me more about why you want to do this? Is your target audience/market in a region you aren’t located in?

I recommend against using an address as your business address unless it truly is your business address. The Shopify Terms of Service requires you to maintain an accurate location based on your current jurisdiction. This means that while you can enter an address there that isn’t where you’re actually located, you would be violating the Terms of Service and it would likely negatively impact your online store. It could also cause additional issues for your business like issues with tax and duty obligations, payment issues, shipping issues, the features you’re able to use, etc. I recommend seeking independent legal advice to ensure you’re complying with the Terms of Service. In the meantime, I definitely advise that you use an accurate address for your store settings and billing.

Looking forward to hearing back from you! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your recommendation But I don`t have a physical store or a physical outlet store so what should I do now? The main reason for doing that is I am from Pakistan and the Paypal is not available in our country for enabling my store to show me the Paypal payment method I do change my location from pak to UAE so what do you recommend to me now?

Hi, @itx_hussnain41 . Your store address is based on where you operate your business from so you would want to use the address for where you are operating your business from, even if you don’t have a physical store. If you’re located in Pakistan you’ll want to use an address in Pakistan and you can enable the payment methods available for businesses in Pakistan. You can find a list of these payment gateways here. It’s best to refer to our Terms of Service to ensure you’re complying correctly. If you are unsure about these terms I recommend seeking independent legal advice.

Hi, @12F . I’m happy to take a look into this with you! Can you tell me more about the tax form you’re speaking about?

I won’t have much information on what you should enter for your tax forms, but I may be able to find more information for you if you can tell me more about the form you’re being asked to fill out. We also have a guide here with information on setting up taxes with Shopify.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi @vivekkumar11 ,

Thank you for joining this thread.

While Shopify is available to merchants worldwide, Facebook and Instagram is not. As it currently stands, Facebook and Instagram is only currently supported within the United States. To learn more about these eligibility requirements, you can head over to Facebook’s support page. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

the tax side of selling print-on-demand through Shopify + Printify from Pakistan (or any non-US country) can get confusing. I’m not a lawyer/tax advisor, but here’s what I found + what you should check. You’ll still want to consult a tax professional in your country and maybe in the US, depending on where your customers are.

  • Shopify (or Shopify Payments, etc.) may require certain tax forms from you, especially if you’re selling internationally, and might report certain income for US tax purposes, depending on how your store is set up.

      • Non-US residents can use IRS forms like W-8BEN (for individuals) or W-8BEN-E (for foreign entities) to certify their foreign status. These let them claim reduced withholding rates (if applicable under tax treaties) and avoid certain US tax obligations
