Hello, I am having a problem. I searched that shopify payments isnt available in my country and stripe is available in my country, but i read that shopify payments is run by stripe, so is there any way i can change from shopify payments to stripe? thanks!

If Shopify Payments is not supported in your country, but Stripe is, then you should be able to enable Stripe from within the payment gateway options in your store admin. If you are unable to see Stripe as an option as well, don’t hesitate to check in with our live support for confirmation of it’s availability for you.

Hello. I have an existing account with Stripe and I want to run all my transactions directly through my existing account. How do I connect my shopify store directly to my Stripe account and process transactions through my existing Stripe account. Thank you.

If your store is eligible to use Shopify Payments you will not see the option to enable Stripe as an alternative. Since Stripe powers Shopify Payments on the backend and there are no additional processing fees to use Shopify Payments it is generally considered the better alternative for merchants, even those who have existing Stripe accounts. If you are on the Basic plan you will end up paying an additional 2% (If based in the USA) to process payments through Stripe.
