Topic summary
A store owner reports high traffic but zero conversions despite advertising on TikTok. They request feedback on what might be wrong.
Key diagnostic areas identified:
- Analytics review needed: Check where visitors drop off (product page, cart, or checkout) to pinpoint conversion barriers
- Product presentation: Improve images, descriptions, sizing details, and add reviews/testimonials
- Technical issues: Test site speed and mobile usability, as poor performance drives abandonment
- Trust signals: Display clear return policies, secure payment badges, and contact information
- Checkout friction: Simplify steps, enable express payment options (Shop Pay, Apple Pay), show shipping costs upfront
- SEO visibility: Store doesn’t appear in Google search results; connecting to Google Search Console recommended
Critical business challenge raised:
The store sells products readily available on Amazon and competitors at lower prices, with no clear differentiation or unique value proposition. Without compelling reasons for customers to buy from this specific store, conversion issues will persist regardless of traffic volume.
Status: Discussion remains open; store owner shared URL for detailed feedback.
Communicate clearly with real detail, others are not mind readers.
Provide real detail: inspectable store urls, sample ad copy, campaign strategy, any customer feedback.
An actual business plan.
Self awareness is key ask yourself how many have had the same problem.
How would they look for the problem , then search for that EXISTING knowledge.
Get self-awareness as fast as possible by learning from all the mistakes to be found in the mass graveyards of this cliché.

Know and map out where your at or going to go for specific problems and ask specific questions.
You wouldn’t walk into a car parts store asking where the milk is, online is still reality with context.
You posted in the “Payments + Shipping & Fulfilment” for some reason.
Try Store Feedback AFTER putting real effort into researching the mistakes of others.
Most replies you’ll get for “feedback” will either just be sycophantic chat bots, be useless feelgood platitudes, or worse prescribe glossy busy work that will burn time but not change business failings.
So will NOT save a business.
Good Luck.
Getting lots of visitors but very few buyers is a common conversion issue. The first step is to look at your analytics to see where shoppers drop off – are they leaving on the product page, after adding to cart, or during checkout? That will tell you where to focus your efforts. In general:
-
Make sure your product pages are persuasive: use high‑quality images from multiple angles, write clear descriptions with sizing/fit information, and include reviews or testimonials where possible. The more confidence a shopper has in what they’re buying, the better.
-
Check site speed and mobile usability. A slow or hard‑to‑navigate mobile experience is one of the biggest reasons people bounce. Tools like Google PageSpeed Insights can show you what to fix.
-
Offer trust signals: a visible return/refund policy, secure payment badges and clear contact details all reassure customers that you are legitimate.
-
Simplify the checkout process. Reduce the number of steps, enable express checkout options (Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal), and make shipping costs clear upfront so there are no surprises.
-
Refine your marketing. If you’re running ads on TikTok, ensure the ads target the right audience and that your landing pages match the ad creative and promise.
For more tailored feedback, post your store URL and details about your marketing strategy in the Store Feedback forum; other merchants can offer more specific suggestions.
What do you offer that isn’t readily available elsewhere?
Please share your store URL here, so that I can take a look and give you some feedback.
I have searched your website on Google and none of search results display on my end. I guess your customers may feel hesitated to make any purchases if they fail to know more about store pages on search engines like Google. How about connecting store with Google Search Console and letting your store display on Google at first? It can help bring more conversions as well in some ways.
There’s nothing in your store that’s not available in Amazon or some other cheap company, for less money.
If you want people to pay you money, you need to provide good reason. I see no reason to buy from you.
You can’t just do bare minimum and expect money to flow like a river.
