I’m so glad I came across this community page as there are actually a lot of nice people willing to help other shopify store owners here.
I have an online boutique called stylenanza (you can find my website at stylenanza.com).
I would like to seek some advice from more experienced shopify store owners that I can action to improve my conversion rate.
Furthermore, what services should I pay for from shopify partners/fiverr that my business can really benefit from? I’m currently thinking of engaging an SEO expert although it is pricey.
I really want this to work as I have a lot of ideas for the future of my business but i just need to get the ground running.
Hi there @stylenanza my first suggestion would be set up sections for best sellers and latest arrivals on the homepage. My second would be to display some customer testimonials on the homepage, this would help give your store a much more authentic and verifiable look.
when it comes to SEO experts I’d highly advise you get one who’s well skilled with a game plan already set on how to help you out. I’d also favour hiring from Upwork as opposed to Fiverr based on personal experience. Alternatively, you could also look at hiring someone who’s well experienced with Instagram and Tik Tok ads to help promote the business.
I hope you find these helpful and I wish you the best of luck!
Thank you for directing me with actionable advice. I have done my best to implement them. I’m not sure why but UpWork is not letting my create an account. If it still doesn’t work I think I’ll use Fiverr. Really hope I can improve my conversion rate soon!
Hello @stylenanza ,
I’m Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
I spent some time exploring your online store, and I have some feedback to help improve your conversion rate:
Increase the credibility of the website by adding a favicon to your site.
The homepage currently feels overloaded with information. Simplify it with a layout like this:
Hero banner
Best-seller collections
Banner highlighting discounts/campaigns the store is running
Customer feedback/reviews
You may also want to take a look at Pandora’s homepage design to see how they display their products: https://us.pandora.net
You could improve product photography by styling different outfits and accessorizing each look with jewelry or accessories from your store. This will help customers visualize how they can use your products.
Consider upsell deals like “Buy 1 Get 1” or product combos.
As for involving an expert, I believe you could invest in boosting your media presence, especially through platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Focus on creating visually compelling content targeting young, fashion-loving audiences. You might also want to plan marketing campaigns and run ads for the upcoming BFCM (Black Friday & Cyber Monday) season.
I hope these suggestions help you find the best solutions for your business. Good luck!

Looking at the current banner, I think that you are selling clothes or makeup products, not jewelry. The banner should clearly show your main product lines. Please see a reference for a jewelry store below:
You should add ATC, or add to the wish list buttons and make the discount label more noticeable to encourage customers to buy your products. Here is a reference:
The lack of product information might be an issue for the conversion as it will cause the hesitation to purchase. Make sure to provide customers as much information as possible. Including product details such as material composition, and care instructions can give customers more confidence in their purchases, reducing potential returns or dissatisfaction.
