Changing the confirmation email text on a Thank you page

Hello everyone,

I would like to change the confirmation email text on the Thank you page on my web shop. However, after following the instructions from the Shopify support, the email appeared in html. So, now I do not know what to do next. I am also wandering whether there is some other way of doing this than via html format? I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me.

Hello @JM27 click “settings” from admin panel > “notification” there you can find the all notification Email, SMS raw file to update, simply change any text as doc file then click “Preview” to check the updated view before saving it

  1. Because customizing notification templates with HTML can sometimes be a bit tricky and if you’re not well versed in code, the best way is to find an expert to help you edit it.

If you don’t want to hire an expert, you should consider not changing the structure of the template, just changing the text on it. You can refer to this video to learn more about it.

I just want to give you a further information in case you don’t want to edit your confirmation email via HTML format anymore. You can use Shopify apps to fulfill the task, there are many email apps that you can try out. Personally, I’ve tried a simple search term and here’s what I found: Email apps.

I’m guessing you’re new to Shopify so you might want a low-cost but well-functioning app. Based on my experience with Shopify, I sort out some apps that might be suitable for your store:
