Hi Team,
I need to monitor the Daily Active Users (DAU) and Monthly Active Users (MAU) on the Website.
Could someone guide me on how to check that?
How are Visitor, Session and MAU different?
Thanks a lot.

Hello @Jyotsana ,
I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
As a Shopify store owner, you can use Google Analytics to track your website’s Daily Active Users (DAU) and Monthly Active Users (MAU).
Here’s how you can set up Google Analytics for your Shopify store.
Once you have Google Analytics set up, you can view your DAU and MAU in the Audience Overview report.
Visitor is a person who visits your website. Session is a group of interactions that take place on your website within a given time frame. For example, a session could consist of multiple pageviews, clicks, and interactions that a visitor makes on your website in a single browsing session. Monthly Active Users (MAU) is the number of unique visitors who engage with your website or app during a one-month period.
In short, while visitors are individual people who come to your site, a session is a single period of activity that a visitor spends on your site, and MAU is a count of unique visitors during a particular period (usually a month).

Hi @Jyotsana ,
This is Richard from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App. Based on your question, I think you should add Google Analytics 4 into your store.
After successfully finished connecting your GA4 with Shopify (guideline can be search on Google), you can check on any report, find the option to customize the report, go to Metric and find the DAU and MAU metrics.
For further customization, you can find it on Google Analytics Help.
I hope this answer will be helpful to you
Best regards,
Richard | PageFly Team
