Hello!
I noticed that on my checkout page the tickbox ‘Email me with news and offers’ is automatically checked..
I tried to change this, because I don’t want this to be automatically checked..
is there a way to change this so the customer has to physically click the checkbox? so its not automatically enabled?

Yes, you can change this setting in your Shopify admin. Go to Settings > Checkout. Under Customer contact, find the Email marketing section. There, you can uncheck the option that says Subscribe customers to your marketing emails by default. Save your changes, and the checkbox will no longer be pre-checked on the checkout page.
