We have 5 retail locations that we would like to offer Click & Collect or ‘Local Pickup’, we are currently fulfilling orders from one of the stores.
We’ve created 5 warehouse locations on Shopify and updated stock on 2 of them, one is the store we currently fulfil delivery orders out of, and the other one to test Click & Collect. We have however run into some issues - if a customer adds a product that is in stock at the C&C only location, as well as a product that is available for delivery and is only in stock at the delivery location, then they are unable to check out because the products in their cart are stocked at two different locations, and they can neither checkout using Click & Collect or Delivery.
I.E.
WH1 : Delivery & C&C
WH2 : C&C
Cart -
Product 1: WH1 - In stock | WH 2 - Out of Stock
Product 2: WH1 - Out of Stock | WH 2 - In stock
In this scenario - the customer cannot check out with delivery or C&C at either store. Shopify checkout will simply state that these products cannot be shipped, and doesn’t specify which product is causing issues.
Without any custom development, can anyone suggest a solution or an app?
