In general, is it possible for the Shopify analytics report to break?
I now go in from different devices, different carriers, different IPs, and I don’t see anything in online mode.

Nope, It’s not about you , this is a public forum as such it’s about anyone that may one day need a path to follow in finding what the problem is, consider them too when you read general troubleshooting guidance on forums before assuming it’s about bona fides.
These types of problems are very much a basic turn-it-off-and-turn-it-on-again scenario until something better surfaces.
