Closing a store and cancel billing

Good evening

I have tried this online store thing and find it too difficult to navigate. I have opened 2 stores which is now inactive. I then opened a new one with the email help from Jared at Zenpro. Only to find that he actually want to force me into taking a very expensive plan!!

I am therefor no longer interested in having a shopify online store and would like to close it down, cancel, delete or whatever you call it. I have already linked my bank account to the store, chose a plan etc. I need to have this cancelled as well.

Please can this be actioned as soon as possible and with immediate effect.

As the Forums are an unauthenticated support channel, we’re unable to action this request to cancel your store. However, you can cancel your store yourself by using the steps outlined in this document here. You can also refer to the below steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.

  2. Click Deactivate store.

  3. If applicable, review the options to switch to the Pause and build plan, or start a new store.

  4. If you still want to deactivate, then click Deactivate store.

  5. Select a reason for the deactivation, and then click Continue.

  6. Enter your password, and then click Deactivate now.
