A Shopify store owner is struggling to display different collapsible row tabs on specific product pages without them appearing across all products. They initially set up category metafields for product information tabs, but when adding collapsible rows to one product (e.g., pet food with nutritional tables), those same tabs appear on unrelated products (e.g., dog toys).
Attempted Solutions:
Switched from category metafields to product metafields
Deleting and re-adding tabs still causes them to appear globally
Suggested Approach:
Create product-specific metafields and connect them to collapsible rows (initial recommendation)
Use alternate product templates to differentiate product page layouts
Current Status:
Issue remains unresolved
User accepted offer for direct assistance but problem persists
Latest suggestion involves creating separate templates for different product types

Iv managed to setup my category Meta fields to add tabs for each product with its required information. My only issue is:
I want to add different drop down menus to different products. When I add the collapsable Row to one product page. Those tabs show up across the product range. For instance, Iv got pet food that require certain tables to explain the different details to the food. Then I go to my dog toy, which require different drop down tabs. How do I select tabs to show on specific product pages without it showing across the entire product range.
For that you have to create product metafields and then add the data of your product in those metafields and then connect those metafields with your collapsible rows. If you’re unfamiliar of how to use metafields then feel free to let me know and I would be more than happy to help you out in setting up the metafields.
